About MCES Legacy

Established in 1948 by Late Mr. Abdul Kadir Khan and fellow visionaries, the Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society (M.C.E. Society) was founded with the purpose of opening educational opportunities for economically, educationally, and socially disadvantaged communities. It is one of the oldest and most respected educational organizations in Pune, registered under the Society’s Registration Act of 1860 and as a Public Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. The Society is also registered under Section 12(a) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and enjoys tax exemption under Section 80G.

From humble beginnings with four schools, M.C.E. Society has grown into a vibrant educational complex offering programs in higher, professional, and technical education across disciplines such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Education, Management, Architecture, Dental Sciences, Hospitality, and Information Technology.
